Paneer Jalfrezi



Paneer Jalfrezi
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings)
1.        200 gram Paneer cut into 1”long pieces and place in warm water till use
2.        1 medium size Onion finally chopped
3.        1 tsp ginger garlic paste
4.        1 large Capsicum chopped
5.        4-5 Beans cut it into 1" pieces
6.        2 large Tomato chopped
7.        2 tsp Tomato  ketchup
8.        1 tsp chilli powder
9.        1/4 tsp cumin seeds
10.    1/4 tsp cumin powder
11.    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
12.    1 tsp coriander powder
13.    1 tsp garam masala
14.    1 tsp kasoori methi
15.    1 tbls Lemon juice
16.    1 tbls refined oil
17.    Salt as per taste
18.    oil for deep frying paneer
Method
Heat oil in a deep frying pan and deep fry paneer cubes till light golden. Drain from oil and soak in a bowl of hot water, drain before using.
Now heat oil in a wok,  add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Add sliced onions and saute until it is translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 min.
Add red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, kasuri methi, coriander powder and salt. Mix well.
Add tomato and cook for 2-3 min. Add sliced beans, capsicum pieces and cook for 5 min. on low flame.
Add tomato ketchup and paneer pieces and  mix well. Cook for 4-5 min. on medium flame.
Finally add garam masala and lemon juice and mix well. Turn off flame and remove to a serving bowl.
Serve hot with roti of naan.
