Curd



Curd

Ingredients
1/2 litre Milk
2 tsp Curd

Method (how to make curd)
Boil milk in a pan and switch off. Leave it to cool.
When it is lukewarm, add 2 tsp of curd and mix well and pour milk for one container to another container 2-3 times so that the curd mixes well with the milk.
Then transfer the milk into a container and close the container with lid.
Leave the container undisturbed in a warm place for 5-6 hours. The curd will set within 5-6 hours under favorable conditions.
Refrigerate once the curd sets. If you leave the curd outside for a long time, it will become sour.

Mocktails



Mocktails

Ingredients (for 2 servings)
2 scoop  Vanilla Ice Cream        
100 ml Frooti drink
100 ml Sprite or limka
100 mal Drinking Soda
Crushed ice

Method (How to make mocktails)
Put crushed ice in a mocktail glass.
Fill 1/4th part of glass with Frooti drink.
Now, add one scoop of vanilla ice cream.  
Slowly pour over the sprite till half from the side of the glass.
Top up the glass with drinking soda.
Garnish with strawberry crush and serve chill

Sesame Seeds and Peanut Chutney



Sesame Seeds and Peanut Chutney

Ingredients

1/2 cup White Sesame Seeds
1/3 cup Peanuts
1/4 cup grated fresh Coconut
1 tsp Tamarind pulp
4-5 Dry Red Chilies
5-6 Garlic cloves
Salt as per your taste
1 tbls Oil

For Tempering
1 tsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
7-8 curry leaves  


Method
Heat a pan and dry roast sesame seeds till light brown and remove from the pan.
Now roast peanuts and coconut till they are golden brown. remove from the heat and keep aside.
Now heat oil in and pan. add garlic and saute till light brown, now add dry red chilies and tamarind and saute few seconds.
Now add all the ingredients (except for tempering) in a mixer, add half cup water and grind as smooth paste.
Now heat tempering oil in a small pan and once it is hot, add mustard seeds and curry leaves let them sizzle.
Immediately add it to the chutney and serve with idly, dosa.

Stuffed Garlic Rolls



Stuffed Garlic Rolls

Ingredients
2 cup Maida
2 tbls olive oil
1 tbls Active dry yeast
1 tsp ssugar
1 tspsalt
1 cup luke warm water
1 tbls sesame seeds

for filling
50 gram butter
1 tbls Grated garlic
2 tbls chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp chilly flakes
1/2 tsp oregano


Method  (How to make garlic rolls)

Mix yeast and sugar  and add lukewarm water. Let it rest for ten minutes.
Now mix miada, salt and olive on in a mixing bowl.
Now add ready yeast and some water to knead a smooth dough.
Close the bowl with the lid and Keep it in warm place for 2-3 hours.
Now mix all the filling materials and keep aside.
After hours devide the dough into two equal halve.
Grease the baking tray with some oil.
Now dust the platform with dry flour. Take one half of the dough and roll it into a rectangular shape.
Now Spread half of the filling over it properly and roll them as a loaf. Cut the rolled loaf as 5-6 pieces.
Repeat the same procedure with the other half dough and make rolls
Now place all the rolls in a greased baking tray. Sprinkle some sesame seeds over it
Let the roll
keep again for fifteen minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 C. and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or till light brown in colour.
Serve
with tea or coffee.
