Thekua
Ingredients
2 cup Whole Wheat
Flour
1/2 cup Semolina (
Sooji / Rava)
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup grated Jaggery
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
1 tsp fennel powder (saunf)
1/2 cup grated or powdered Coconut
4 tbsp Ghee (for moyan)
Refind oil for frying
Method
Mix
all ingredients in a large bowl and knead stiff doung. Make small round
balls and flatten them in your palm to make cookie
shape.
Now heat oil in wok and deep fry them on medium flame till brown in colour.
When cool down, store in airtight container.
