Bengali Baigan Bhaja - Fry Brinjals
Ingredients
- 4-5 Medium Size Brinjals
- 2 tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 Red Chilli Ppowder(4)
- Mustard oil for frying
Method
- Wash and cut the brinjals in round pieces.
- Apply salt chilly powder and turmeric powder over it and keep it aside for 1 hour.
- Now heat oil in wok Fry the the brinjals peices on medium flame until they get soft.
- Now take off from the pan and place the peices on paper towel to absorb the extra oil.
- Baigan bhaja is ready.
- Serve hot with khichdi or rice.
