Masala Puri
(Bangalore Style)
Ingredients

Cups Green Peas (Soaked
and Boiled)
3
Green Chillies
1/4
cup Coriander leaves
1
tbls oil
1
tsp Red chilli powder
1
tsp Garam Masala powder
1/2
tsp Dry mango powder (aamchur)
1
tsp Chat Masala
1/2
tsp Black Salt
1/2
tsp roasted Cumin powder (jeera)
1/2
tsp Black Pepper powder
1
Onion chopped
1
Tomato chopped

nos. Papdi puris
1
cup Sev
2
tbls Sweet Tamarind chutney
1/2
cup Yogurt (Curd)
Salt
to taste
Method (How to make masala puri)
Grind one & half cups of boiled Green Peas with coriander leaves & Green chillies with water to a fine paste.
Keep half
cup peas aside for garnishing.
Heat Oil in a kadai & add the ground paste. Bring to
a boil.
Add Red chilli powder, Salt, Garam masala, Pepper powder, Dry mango powder & Cumin
powder. Cook till its start boiling and let it to boil for 4-5 mins.
Add extra water to adjust the consistency to medium
thick. Remove from heat.
For serving
Break 5-6 puris on a serving plate, Add the boiled mixture, few boiled Green peas, Sweet tamarind
chutney, Chat masala, Black salt, little yogurt, onion and tomato.
Sprinkle some
sev over the plate, top with chopped coriander
leaves & serve hot
immediately.
