Veg Momos recipe
Ingredients (for 2-3servings)
for outer covering
1 cup maida
2 tsp oil
salt as per taste
for stuffing
1 cup cabbage (grated)
1/4 cup carrot (grated)
1 tbls garlic (grated)
1 tbls ginger (grated)
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 cup spring onion finally chopped
2 green chillies finally chopped
1 tsp Soya sauce
Salt
as per taste
1 tbls oil
Method (How to
make veg momos)
Mix
maida, salt and oil in a bowl and add required quantity of water and knead soft dough. Just like our roti
dough. Cover with lid and keep aside for 30 minuts.
Heat
oil in non stick wok, add ginger, garlic and green chillies. Add the grated cabbage and carrot and fry in high flame for a minute.
Add
spring onion , salt,
pepper, soy sauce and mix well. Switch off and keep aside.
Make 12-14 part with kneaded dough. and rolled
the dough into a small poori size. Keep one spoonful stuffing in the middle and Fold it to make momo shapes.
Steam
it in a steamer spaced properly, for 8-10a minutes.
Transfer
to a serving plate. Serve hot with sauce.
