Kabuli Chana Chat
Ingredients (for
2-3 servings)
For chutney
1 cup mint (Pudina) leaves
Chopped
1/2 cup coriander leaves
chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
3-4 green chilles
1/2 inch piece
ginger
3 tbls lemon juice
1 tbls sugar
salt as per taste
Other Ingredients
1/2 tbls butter
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 cup boiled kabuli chana
1 potato (boiled)
1 small capsicum (finally
chopped)
1/4 cup paneer cubes
1/4 cup tomato (chopped)
1/2 tsp chat masala
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Salt as per taste
1 tbls coriander leaves
(chopped)
Method
(How to make kabuli chana chat)
Combine all the chutney
ingredients
and
make smooth
paste.
Chutney is ready.
Cut the tomatoes and
scoop out the seeds from inside.
Chop tomato, capsicum
and potato into small cubes.
Heat butter in a kadai
and add the cumin seeds.
When they start
crackle
add the boiled kabuli
channa,
potatoes, tomatoes, capsicum and paneer and cook for a minute.
Remove from heat
and
allow it to cool.
Add the chutney, salt, chat
masala, lemon
juice and coriander leaves . Mix well.
Serve immediately.
