Dhaniya Coconut Burfi
Ingredients
1 cup dhaniya
(Coriander) Powder
1 1/2 cup dry Coconut powder
1 1/2 cups Sugar
3/4 cup Water
2-3 tbls Musk
Melon Seeds
1/4 tsp Green cardamom
powder
2 tbls ghee
Method
Heat ghee in a pan and roast
dhaniya
(coriander)
powder for
3-4 min.remove from the pan and keep aside.
Now dry roast melon seed for
few seconds on medium flame and keep aside.
Now roast coconut powder
for 1-2 min. on low flame and keep aside.
Now boil
water along
with sugar
till 2 strings consistency.
Once the sugar syrup is
ready, add coriander powder, coconut powder and melon seeds
green cardamom powder and stir well for few seconds.
Switch off the flame
and spread
the mixture immediately on a greased steel plate.
After cooling down cut
the burfi in desired shape.
Dhania Nariyal burfi is
ready
for Janmashtami prasad.
