Tikki
- Kabuli Chana Tikki
Ingredients
For Tikki
1 cup of boiled chickpeas
(white
chole chana)
3 boiled medium potatoes
1 tbls chopped
coriander
2 tbls
ginger & garlic paste
2 chopped green chilies.
1 tsp
lemon juice
Salt
as per taste
Oil to fry
For
Garnishing
1/4 cup plain yogurt,
stirred until smooth
2 tbls green chutney
2 tbls tamarind
chutney
Method
Peel the skin of
potato
and mash it.
Drain the all
water
from
the chickpeas and mash the chickpeas coarsely.
Mix all the ingredients and
salt
as per taste
and make soft dough.
Now Apply
little oil on your palm, divide the mixture into 8 to 10
equal part.
Make them into the shape
of tikkis
and keep them aside.
Heat the oil in a flat tawa
or pan on
medium heat, place the tikkis in the pan and put some oil around the
tikkis and shallow
fry the Tikkis on both sides until both sides are golden brown.
For Serving
Put hot tikki
on
the plate.
Drizzle some yogurt, tamarind chutney and green chutney
over the Tikki.
Put some chopped green coriander and chat masala over it. and serve hot.
